Mohammed ‘Abed al-Jabri 
Al-Jabri is an important contemporary Moroccan thinker-philosopher who called for a re-examination of Arab heritage (al-turath) and Reason. He is a proponent of Averroism and believes that Muslims  should recapture the rationalism of Ibn Rushd (Averroes). Official site is in Arabic, with a few French and English articles.
